Wash Instructions
Proper washing and drying are key to maintaining absorbency and extending the life of your LeakMaster Organic Prefold Cloth Diapers.
Prepping: Before first use, machine wash in hot water with detergent. Dry on high until nearly dry, then repeat 2–3 times. This removes natural cotton oils from the fabric for full absorbency.
Machine Wash: Start with a short cold prewash using detergent, followed by a full hot wash. Use the extra water setting in HE machines. Avoid fabric softeners as they coat fibers and reduce absorbency. Use chlorine bleach only when necessary and follow with a second rinse if used.
Drying: Tumble dry on high. Dryer balls help speed drying and soften fabric. Line drying is a great alternative during suitable weather.
